Barbara Saunders OBE (Member - lay)

Barbara is an independent consumer consultant with experience of public policy in the UK and European Union. She is currently a member of the Board of Passenger Focus, which represents the interests of rail and bus passengers, and of Soil Association Certification Limited. Having held a number of non-executive positions in the food, financial services and health sectors, Barbara previously chaired the Financial Services Consumer Panel and Insurance Ombudsman Bureau. She also undertakes disciplinary tribunals involving architects and accountants.
