Terence Connor (Member - lay)

Terry is a non-executive director of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and Henderson Private Equity Investment Trust plc, a Trustee of The Africa Educational Trust and an Independent member of Hertfordshire Police Authority. He was for six years a non-executive director of Which Ltd. Terry began his city career as a media analyst for James Capel & Co and Smith New Court. He joined the Mirror Group plc in 1993 and became an Executive Director as part of the team appointed to re-build the company following the Maxwell debacle.
