We have issued a warning notice to the Association of Costs Lawyers (ACL) as the approved regulator which informs the CLSB that the LSB, pursuant to paragraph 21(1)(b) of Part 3 of Schedule 4 of the Legal Services Act 2007, is considering whether to refuse the application. The warning notice expires on 24 April 2020; this is 12 months from the date of receipt of the warning notice by the ACL. We have also written to the CLSB setting out in more detail the reasons for the warning notice. CLSB has written a letter in response to the warning notice.
