Statutory decision making

The Legal Services Act 2007 gives the LSB a range of approval and decision making powers.

The LSB has made rules for how it will consider applications on:

These rules set out, for example, statutory deadlines that the LSB must work to when considering applications, as well as the fees the LSB may charge and information about how approved regulators should submit applications.

Should you have any questions about a specific application which is either pending approval by the LSB or has already been approved, you should contact the relevant approved regulator. The LSB does not consult publically about applications it receives.
